Giving Back

Our founder, Rick Myers, and his family are committed to giving back to the community. Over the years, Rick's wife, Sue, has been deeply involved with a family homeless shelter in the East County-Gresham area called My Father's House. This organization is committed to aiding and restoring to health families who — for various reasons — have found themselves living on the street. In the process, Sue was inspired to dream bigger. She had an idea that would multiply the return on her efforts and broaden the scope of those she could help and bless. In 2010, her vision birthed a new a local community thrift and home store. Chase Me Again is a nonprofit organization with full 501(c)(3) status, located in downtown Gresham.

Not Your Average Thrift Store

Chase Me Again is not your average thrift store. Yes, it is a place to donate your used items or find other used items at a low price, but it is much more than that. Chase Me Again is a unique place that began with a dream to encourage the cycle of renewal and redemption and to restore value to the discarded. Not only does Chase bring value back to discarded items, it also restores value to individuals who have become lost, beaten down, and forgotten — people who need a good meal, a helping hand, or simply just a listening ear. Over the last five years, Chase Me Again has been able to donate nearly $125,000 to My Father's House and other charities

A Part of the Community

Chase Me Again opened their doors in 2010 with approximately 1,200 sq. ft. of floor space in the lower level of the historic building on the corner of 5th and Main in Gresham. In 2012 they grew and moved into one of the Riegelmann buildings at 2nd and Hood (still Gresham) with approximately 4,900 sq. ft.

Chase Me Again is mostly volunteer-run, reselling used clothing, shoes, boots, jackets, coats, jewelry, gadgets, toys, housewares, books, furniture, antiques, wedding dresses, and much more. Go to Gresham and check them out! Their products are clean, well-priced, and in great shape. Who knows what kind of treasure you may find? Inventory changes weekly, so there's always something new to discover. You may even become inspired to become one of their many helpful and friendly volunteers. Donate items you no longer need or are bored with, find a great deal, volunteer with quality people, make a friend, and touch your community.
